The Brusso hinges Sven mentioned look nice but are way out of my hobby budget. Nichelocks looks like a nice site unfortunately buying from the UK has become really expensive since the Brexit due to shipping and import tariffs.

I did managed to find a local store called baptist that sells the type of hinges Barry mentioned for a decent price, they are probably not full brass but plated. Just wondering does that actually matter? Does wood react badly to steel/iron?
