How is the chisel secured in the wooden body?

* Using a wedge in a rectangular hole. This seems a bit difficult to make…
* Drill a round hole slightly smaller than the chisel and drive it in using a mallet. I imagine that this will make the chisel come loose after some usage.

Any thoughts?
