Depending on how well matched the irons are for your wooden plough plane it’s often possible to have things up and running after a few adjustments to the grooves in the rear of the irons, the top of the rear skate, or the wedge, plus a little wax on the fence beams. 🙂  I love using mine when I’m in the zone 🙂
