After building my table legs i now see why lamination is not the preferred way to get 8/4 stock for that application( visible joint lines). The problem is i have a lot of 4/4 material, but now im running into projects where i need 8/4. this particular question is in regard to a carrom table( indian pocket billiards) .
the rails call for 1-1/2″thickness x 3″ width. Do i make the lamination part of the face design , or edge design?
im going to go with a mortice and tenon joinery

im gonna try it a couple of different ways, and thicknesses. I bought some 8/4 at the sawmill this week too!
