started this build with paul some 15 weeks ago, and now its nearly finished i kinda regret not trying to source enough mahogany for the back and sides i jumped at the laminated pine boards in the hardware store because they were correct size, however my thinking at the time was this was going to be my first attempt at this and it was going to end up beside my bench there of course would be mistakes and errors that one would learn from .paul really makes it look straight forward and is excellent in explanation of technique. i really enjoying these hand tool methods i feel i am improving with each project.

Nice job, David. Not this is a contest, but I think you may be the first to finish. Is anyone making a completely pine version? I’m between pine or maybe sinking a bit of money for something nice. So many of my projects I believed were merely a first try are still around.
