@ Jeff, Oh one more thing Jeff, the last two years of the woodwrites shop have been excelent. With projects such as the Roubo Bookstand, Wreched ratchet reading rack and the Elizabethan Joint stool. All worth watching, learning and making.

Is that online, DVD, or book? Thanks.

Lots of interesting things to watch at the woodwrightsshop videos … at least i think so!

The “Woodwright’s Shop” is Roy Underhill’s television series that appears on (too few) PBS stations in the U.S.  You can find videos of those episodes at: http://video.pbs.org/program/woodwrights-shop/

Juryaan, it won’t be the last episode that you watched from the woodwright shop 😉 the risk of getting addicted is very high.

When I was sick last time, I couldn’t resist and made a 6 months subscription for the woodwright channel. If you think about it, I’d rather buy the dvds now because the streaming is often very slow.

Glad you can be with me 😉

P.S. The spring pole lathe is the next project just for me as soon as I finished the 36 cabinets my girlfriend has already ordered 😉

I enjoy working wood in Germany.

Fantastic box Darren. Proportions are very nice, and the pine looks like it glows…

I am not a subscriber, so it is impossible for me to fairly comment on the pacing. I already have Paul’s book and DVD set, so I fear as though 95% of the material in the first few projects is already covered. For that reason I have just been waiting for a project that is one that I want to build, like a tool chest or wall cabinet. For me, the wait is like torture… 😉

Hopefully Paul’s second book &DVD will fill in any gaps of the first, like carcase / frame and panel construction.

I don’t know about picking up the pace.  If I’m working along with the videos as they come out, I’m anxious for the next episode.  But, I end up lagging behind because of my work schedule and, I’m also in the midst of building and organizing my work space.  So, I’ll be busy for a while and, then end up watching several videos back-to-back.
