I’m still excited there is a fair amount of oak there in that pile. 😉
Teak is almost non existent Iroko and Afrormosia took the place over here in UK.
I have never seen Cypress I’ll have to look it up is it hardwood or softwood ?
Technically, Cypress is a softwood, in the cedar family. However, it is one of the harder softwoods. It is very resistant to insects and rot, making it good for use outdoors. It works extremely well, but is subject to delaminating between growth rings in flatsawn boards. I use it quite a bit in outdoor furniture.
