Welcome! / Forums / General Woodworking Discussions / Projects / Bench sliding on floor
So I’ve just completed assembly and the bench it is awaiting vice installation. In using the bench to plane the well board, I have a problem that Paul did not have on the grass- my bench slides very easily on my floor, which is a type of underlay that is finished like the OSB / aspenite they use in NA for house sheathing. Cleats? Nonskid pads? Felt? What say you all who may have had similar issue? I did a quick search in the forums but I could not see any history. Brian

Hi Brian. You could try and place some carpet with the rubbery side against the floor, under each leg.
Hi Brian you can try this one from Lee Valley

They have a 12″ x 36″ H.F. Sheet should be enough for legs.
