I’m pretty happy with how this turned out, mistakes and all. It is made from 1 x 12 pine with 4 moveable shelves. The top and middle arches are through mortise and tenons, I thought that might help with rigidity since I only have the two fixed shelves. The back is tongue and grooved 1 x 6s and just screwed on.
I’m not sure what is going on with the picture. It shows up in the correct orientation elsewhere. I tried rotating it clockwise and it showed up flipped 180.
I like it a lot, Steve. Some time in the future (2016 or 2017) I’d like to try a couple of these. Yours looks really nice. Very satisfying project, I’m sure.
Nice case. I own or have read most of your software/electronic engineering and maths books!
I too made mine out of`1 x 12″ and 3 1/2″ bead board
