I seem to need a bow saw and thought I would make one. Having done a little research I have a few questions???
1. Is Paul going to do a session on the bow saw and if so should I wait for it?
2. Can the gramercy kit be found any where in UK; I have not found any where so far?
3. If no kit is available what blade is used and where can they be found / purchased?
4. Is Oak suitable for the frame?Looking forward to hearing your advice and help (and hoping the bow saw project is scheduled soon….)

I made a very rough bow saw this afternoon and put a hack saw blade in it to see what the process was like. It was pretty easy and the saw cuts pretty well so I think I shall invest a little time and money and do the job properly.
Will let you know how it turns out once finished.Again, thanks Greg and Ken for your help.

Fine-Tools also sells their own version of handles that look like they would be very nice. Follow the link and scroll to the bottom of the page.
