    Hi All,

Thanks in advance for all your help. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get brass slotted wood screws in the USA? I’m a novice, so its hard to tell the wheat from the chaff for me.

    Thanks,

    Chris

You should be able to get them at any big box store.

Located in Honeoye Falls NY USA. The Finger Lakes region of Western NY.

Not sure if anyone else has had this experience but I can’t even find flat-head screws at Home Depot or Lowe’s anymore–all they sell is Philips head.

In Canada, all they have is Robertson (square drive). I haven’t found a local source for slot screws, other than the brass ones from Lee Valley.

Finding good wood screws is like looking for good hand tools. I have found a good source for slotted wood screws in http://www.blacksmithbolt.com.
