Merry Christmas! I put the finishing touches on my Mom’s gift.

The utensils are mahogany. The cutting board is walnut, maple, quarter-sawn white oak, and mahogany.

The cutting board is roughly 6.5 inches by 13.75 inches.

Thanks everyone. She loved it. She showed it to everyone and explained that the walnut that is in the cutting board came from some fire wood they brought back for me from Maggie Valley, NC.(USA)

Here are some photos I took as I marked and cut the firewood into rough sawn board to dry. I made a walnut spoon as well. I gave the spoon to my Aunt who was with them on the trip to the mountains.
