I really like the dovetail jig that Paul Sellers made and shared it in YouTube. I made a couple of interesting additions to it, which had made my jig much handy. Below please see some pictures and a drawing.
In a few words, these additions allow me to quickly set my distances of the tails (at least the side ones) quickly. I think that this can get even handier if I add few more template cuts for the distance in between the tails and so forth.
Thanks,
Jake

Very interesting, Jake. But why is one end of the jig tapered in thickness from 3/8″ on one side to 1/8″ on the other side? Is that what you use to lay out the spacing between pins and tails?
Hi Matt, yes, the tapered part allows me to quickly layup the end tail spacing. I think if we brainstorm more, we can make this jig the ultimate part in dovetailing, where all the spacing of the tails can be done with it. Right now I’m able to set ⅛”, ¼”, ⅜” and ½” by placing it at different positions. I think a little video demo would be better to show the process.
