I wanted to make the cutting board when it first aired but we already had three boards in our kitchen. I finally made a smaller one for my camping equipment box which turned out great for slicing salami and cheese. My daughter fell in love with it and wanted one for her kitchen. I made one for her as a Christmas present which she dearly loves. I’m not sure if it’s best to glue the center line or not but it really impresses people when I point out that there isn’t any glue in the project holding it together. They also like hearing that it is a 200 year old design.

agree jim, everybody who has seen mine wants one and has been impressed, it’s one of the best projects on here. I want to make a few more of them from different types of wood species. I have plans to make a downscaled version of it at some point.
