First project other than my workbench…
Made from white oak, which was lovely to work with. Slightly smaller than the plans due to the size of the original board. Finished in Ikea cutting board oil, which is just mineral oil…
A couple of joints could have been a fraction tighter, but very happy with it… Built as a 40th birthday present for my partner, who loved it, and I’m pretty sure that it will outlive her as unlike the rest of her chopping boards I can’t see how any of the joints would ever fail due the drawbores
