Great alternate use of an available product. I sometimes use old plastic credit card stock, cut into strips – very similar to yours. And with yours you could probably use the pointed end to scrape away the wet glue in inside corners or a box/carcase. For that I usually use a plastic straw with it’s end cut at an angle, but I’d bet this would work great, too.
Great tip there Redwood, I have loads of those lying around from years of gardening. In true Paul Sellers fashion adapt and make do costing us pennies not pounds (or in your case cents not dollars) and allowing us to get on with the job and spend our money on important things like……good quality wood!
