I saw an article on the internet about Greene and Greene furniture, the box I have made is constructed just with finger joints which are held together using glue and screws. The screws are located in counter bored holes which were made in to a square hole using an 8mm chisel . the holes are then plugged with 8mm square ebony plugs.
I made a small Paul type thickness jig for producing the 8mm square plugs.
I have applied 3 coats of Shellac and two coats of wax.
I would like one day for Paul to make a more substantial piece of Greene and Greene furniture in his video series.
Thanks for your kind comments, it was an interesting project but very time consuming.
