Hanging an old Disston saw!

This is a pretty common process however if you don’t put some form of restraint on it the saw will vibrate off the holder. I’ve done these type saw holders in the lid of my box or on a door of a cabinet with an additional strip mounted somewhere in the center of the blade with a couple of magnets to hold the saw in place.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

A latch on the piece holding the saw handle will work as well. There is enough room between the two screws to put in a third screw that holds a latch. Make it big enough to pivot over the handle, but small enough that it fits just inside the edges of the block.
