Inappropriate use of power tools

Wouldn’t this be faster, easier and safer using hand tools?
Only works with some types of video, usually youtube. Otherwise you just post a link.
On mortises that small, definitely easier and safer with hand tools.
I read an Internet discussion thread once where people were discussing how to put a chamfer on workbench dog holes. There was all kinds of talk of jigs for routers, this that and the other, and then some guy piped up and said “or just use a file and some sandpaper.” That sums it all up for me, right there.

Wow! By the time you set all that up, you’d have it done using just a chisel. That’s one reason I stopped watching that show. All they really seem to be is a 30 minute advertisement for the latest power tools and making jigs for said power tools. I’ve got nothing against power tools, per se, but why spend 30 minutes doing something powered that can be done in 15 by hand?
