Knots!! What to do?

I have this knot and its in a location on the board if i cut around it, waste a lot of wood. I suppose I could use the waste for spoons or other smaller projects. If I keep it I think I can fill the cracks with epoxy and I’m confident I hide it in a corner either on the top or bottom of a case that is covered with molding.
Any thoughts?

I cut the knot out. I know if i completed this with the know showing it would be the only this i would focus on and it would drive me nuts!! Spoons it will be or I will glue up cutting boards.
Personally I like these “warts” and try to enhance them by putting them in a prominent place in any project I do….
I guess I’m a little late, but that knot didn’t look too bad to me. I’d probably plane it (if I could) and use the board. But I don’t know what type of project you have in mind – that could change my thinking. Like Brett said, it can be a feature.
It was for the case of a shadow box. I like the idea of showing of the natural beauty, but didn’t want it in this project. Alas, I still have the knot in a good amount of wood awaiting another protect.
