3 February 2014 at 4:44 pm #27155I was never bothered by the curve of a normal tape. I think the longer the tape the greater the curve. I did get one of the Lee Valley tapes the read from right to left that I really like.

,5 February 2014 at 3:51 pm #27294Slightly off-subject but tapes that have both imperial and metric measurements can be a pain because the scale you need is sometimes on the wrong edge of the tape and you have to transfer the line across with a square. Since I moved to Portugal I’ve discovered how great it is to be able to measure from either end – the tapes have metric on both edges. Small things etc………
