I can honestly say I can’t wait for 2016 to begin. This year was a bad year until the great news that myself and wife were expecting our first child after sometime of trying.. sadly though she miscarried a few days ago quite a way into pregnancy.
She took it hard and so I’m bitching about life here to get it out of my system.
What I need is a long week of solitude in my workshop…
1 January 2016 at 12:28 am #133538I feel for you Max. My wife and I went through this 17 years ago. 2 years later my son was born. You don’t get over it, you get through it. Hang in there.
I wish you and your wife peace and joy in the coming new year.
1 January 2016 at 1:17 am #133539Sorry to hear that, Max. I can’t begin to know what that’s like. But along with your solitude in the shop, be there for your wife. Best wishes for you both in the new year.
3 January 2016 at 5:53 pm #133596That is so sad to hear, Max. I have been lucky enough never to have experienced that, but I do remember when my wife was pregnant, dreading each day that something could go wrong, and realising that it would be as devastating as losing any child of any age.
I do hope you can help each other to get through this together (..but still find some workshop time!).
3 January 2016 at 6:04 pm #133597Condolences Max. I know how devastating that can be. Our first pregnancy miscarried two days after my wife’s father died.
It’s probably doesn’t feel like it right now, but life goes on. It’ll take some time though.
6 January 2016 at 7:27 pm #133725Max, I’m sorry for your loss.
My prayers are with you and your wife.6 January 2016 at 9:39 pm #133728@maxwheeler my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your wife at this devastating time keep each other safe.
