More Resawing

    I had quiet a few offcuts left, so yesterday I had a resawing day, just to see if I could do it. After resawing I rough planed them, and glued them up. Today I planed to thickness, I’m really happy with the result, straight and flat. I was really struggling with my hand planing, but it has come together at last. I have to put that down to Paul’s videos, and practice, practice, practice. 😉

    Nice one, Ken. What sort of saw did you use to do it?

    Thanks George, the only one I have for now is a Stanley hard point saw, its 20″ long with 8TPI.

    I must get some proper panel saws very soon.

    Hey Dave, once I get this timber sorted out, I’m going to start on a few clocks and dovetailed boxes. I have not had a chance to make much,  what with getting the workbench made and sorting the workshop out. I’m still working without a vise, I hope to have that next week.
