    Got’r done. This is going to look great on the wall. All I need to do is slick it up a little more and put the finish on. I’ll be in e shop in the morning experimenting with stain and oils.

    Not a very good picture but it is finished. My wife talked me into the dark walnut stain and then some Danish oil. I don’t like the color but she does and it’s her clock/weather station!

    Thank you all for the generous comments. It was fun to make and we will enjoy it very much. I’m sure when my sister see it, I will be makeing at least 1 more!

    Steve, believe me she drives alright! She divvies up the product of my shop like this… One for you, one for me, one for him, one for me, one for her, one for me… You know how that goes.. If I can just get her to buy the wood, that would be great!
