    Hi everyone

Made the coffee table from regular pine. 90% of the tenon shoulders have slight gaps but its nothing too major. Flattening the top, you need to be in really good physical condition to do that with hand planes lol. It took ages and my arms still hurt!

I made the top with timber dogs as I dont have any clamps. While gluing up I put the table on its side and put a bunch of weight plates on top, it achieved the same outcome so thats good xD

Thanks guys. I put shellac on all of it and one coat of water based Ronseal satin varnish on the top. Waited about four to six hours then I steel wooled it all and put on some antiquax original wax. Came out not bad at all.

Way to go, Raze. Looks fantastic. Hard to believe you can do that without clamps!

Looks really good. Clean work all around. I especially like that you dove in despite not having clamps. Something like that holds a lot of people back. Bravo on the “can do” attitude. Great job.

Table looks great. And nice idea on clamping on its side with weights.
