I made this a few months ago after a redesign of my indoor shop. It is a combination of an old display case that was made from old growth cedar. It was bought at the local flea market and I used it to store a few tools originally. I refinished it and converted it to the door of my new tool cabinet. The new carcass is phillipine mahogany. With the exception of the initial rough cutting, all of it was done with hand tools. Also, these are the very first dovetails that I’ve done. I finished it with 4 coats of amber shellac. I learned a lot from making this cabinet and hope to make some more like this in the future.
