    Thanks everyone.
    Not sure what colour to paint it have to think to think sbout that one. Seems a shame to cover up the dovetails lol.
    This will stay in the house and my kids can use it as a toy box.
    I thought The dovetails would be the most difficult aspect of the build but they went ok, the part that really got me stressed was the hinges on the top.

    It looks great, it would be a shame to hid the wood with paint. Look at Trans tint dye gives color but let’s the wood show.

    Have you worked out the color yet? I’m just starting mine and was thinking of a dark green semi-gloss, to help with moisture. But Paul did a chalk paint on his, which I thought was nice as well.
