Hi, I was watching some of the videos for the new building, and I am especially interested in the shelving in the back. I am planning a similar system, because I have conveniently available beam work at the top that I can attach the shelf side to.
The floor in my workshop is not flat, so I don’t really have the luxury of building square and then screwing to the beams.
I do have the choice of a levelled base (as you may do when fitting a row of cabinets), or using a half lap wedging system.
Or I can slot the top, and let them find their natural height, or fit the shelf supports individually to the profile of the floor underneath them.
However, I am curious how the bottom of the shelf sides was done for the studio workshop.
Thanks, Colin.
