Happy New Year to all of you.
I’ve just finished 2 bookshelves for my daughter. So my next projects will be:
– Mirror frame
– Kitchen/Cupboard cabinet (a big one)
– Media cabinet
– Master bedroom furniture
– Bedroom furniture for my youngest daughter.
– Shop furniture
– Dining table
– Garden furniture
– Many more projects
Oh well, I might not finish them all this year 🙂 We almost all face the same problem. We want to be 24/7 busy in our workshop, but we have jobs, families and so on. Where can I buy some time?
Happy New Year One and All,
I was planning of taking the ‘slow and steady’ approach this year but when I think of all the projects that need doing I may have to up the pace a bit: I want to build myself a new workbench – my current cobbled together one is now too wobbly (and low).
Once that’s done, I have a request from my wife for a new Coffee Table; not as large as the one Paul built but a similar design.
I want to make my Father-in-Law a walking cane for his birthday in February too if possible.
Then I have to work out a design for something to better store the food waste bin we have in the kitchen. At the moment the bin (that’s not much larger than a shoe box) sits on the floor next to the back door. I want to build something that’ll raise it off the ground and provide a bit of storage underneath for the recycling bags we have to use with it.
After that, I want to make a start on my tool chest. I’ve got a couple of boards of Cherry that I think will be perfect – I just need to do some calculations to make sure I’ve got enough timber.
I’ve also got to cast/paint another Darth Vader mask/helmet out of Jesmonite but that’s a project for another forum.
