i recieved this magazine today off my brother who seen it in a charity shop and thought i’d like it,(which i do very much). it was published in july 1909 and was originaly sold for one penny,it still has its free project sheet inside which my brother now wants me to make for him ,i will have to have a go at it,if it was for the home woodworker one hundred and five years ago i’m sure its do-able as the same tools will probably come into play.

I like that idea. A lot what say you all is anyone game say to be done by 1/15/15 a little. Extra time because of holidays …?
I envy Eddy. That mag has got to be fun to read. I would love to see more of it.

Thank you Eddy for sharing
Frankj2 December 2014 at 9:57 pm #121743Great stuff Eddy I find all that old stuff really interesting.
That project is great I would love to have a crack at it. I just don’t get the time. I’m Not even a weekend worrier my work just gets in the way all the time.
One funny coincidence about the magazine was the address on bottom of page 33 Furnival street Holborn London. I have actually worked in that building. Through my current job.
A sense of history came over me when I saw magazine.2 December 2014 at 10:24 pm #121744hi Mark i was wondering myself if any of these companies are still going or even if any of the buildings still stand .
