I can’t remember if I saw a blog or video made by Paul wherein he rehab’d a handsaw and then made a new handle for it. I would like to review it again but can’t find it. Anyone know where it is?
I have some saw handles that need replacing.
Thanks
R. Reece
I remember Paul showing how to reshape handles, but I haven’t seen him do a new handle.
Same general procedures as a tote, except the hardest part is getting the plate slot centered..
And make sure the grain runs lengthwise though the skinny bits.

There might be enough there to get you going .
I believe that Badaxe tools requests a measurement of your hand when you order your saw. They make them in three sizes.
I’m sure if you talk with them they will be able to fit your needs.
They are expensive but very high quality saws.
Bad axe’s owner Mark Harrell’s wife died this week, so be understanding for a while while he and his two teenage kids take some time to heal.
He says he is still taking orders, but the pace will be reduced for a while.
