Thanks for posting Ken, but I am afraid i still find finishing a challenge, I think I will be finishing the clocks I have made with a few coats of Sanding Sealer ( Not sure if making my own Shellac from flakes and Alcohol ) would be any better and then finished with a few coats of wax
