This year in June I’ve assisted to new legacy’s nine day course.
It was a great experience getting to know Paul and Phil and the very nice people I met there.
Even though following the master classes you have a great base level is great to have confirmation or correction to your questions and to feel how a properly adjusted and tuned eBay tool should work.
These are some of my projects after the huge confidence builder.
First is a bench for my wife’s store, made in beech wood, is a simple project of my design and was finished in about 30-35 hours it may seem too much but I assure you that ripping and planing 52mm beech by hand is no joke at all.
Finished with tung oil and wax
Second is the joiners tool box
made from 20 mm rough sawn Swedish pine in about 60 hours(again milling every piece is a bit of the total time)
I’ve changed some details to suit my needs better but it’s a great skill building project, the last till’s dovetails were made in the blink of an eye compared to the first corner of the main box.
Finished with chalk paint and wax
Hope you like them.

FrankjHey guys,
thank you very much.
It’s been super fun to make, specially the tool box. I’ll recommend everyone thinking of building it, to jump right into it. It may seem intimidating but the videos explain the step by step very nicely and the end result is going to look nice inspite of the gaps.Wesleee!!! a hug from Spain for you and your wife(and the flying stone-eater ;D )
regards
