Reclaim look Table

If you want to practice making quite large Mortise and Tenon joints this table could be a way to go . Ideally it would me made from reclaimed wood but I made it from a 9″ x 2″ new redwood board. I had the timber merchant lightly plane it to square it up, I was not bothered about the finish and I wanted it to be as large as possible.
When chopping the mortises it was handy being able to remove the tool well so I could clamp the board down to the bench. I did go a bit OTT with the distressing Once I got that angle grinder in my hand I did not know when to stop
I gave it a few coats of dark wood dye and then a few coats of wax.
I like it David. Looks like a handy little side table. Another joint option would be half blind dovetails at each corner.
