This Is my new saw, a combined birthday/christmas present from me. 🙂
Roberts & Lee handsaws are some of the finest handsaws available today. Using the history and tradition of the Dorchester range, these saws are still made to original specifications. Handcrafted from the finest alloy steel these saws are taper ground and breasted (meaning less teeth are in contact with the wood and therefore less friction) and are precisely set and sharpened by hand to ensure the best possible cut without binding.
The handle is made from the finest American Black Walnut finished with Danish Oil to offer the ultimate comfort and grip. And yes Greg I did order some saw files so I could resharpen it. Haha

3 December 2013 at 9:06 am #22885Looks really nice Ken. What are the specs? Length and tpi? And where did you buy the saw?
I don’t have a rip saw yet and that’s bugging me. Whenever I need to rip a board, large or small, I still have to use my table saw. A good and not too expensive rip saw is hard to find. I know that fine-tools in Germany (my favourite shop) sells a Pax rip saw, but I believe the handle might be too small for my hands.
Have fun with your saw.
Michael/Jay thanks guys 😉
Saw is 22″long with 4.5TPI and I bought it hear
