I wonder how dry the wood is before you’ve started…
Guess humidity changes in a sauna are huge, please let us know how it fares in use…Diego

ParticipantThe wood used is Alder. It was quite dry when I started making it. The house where that sauna is is still being built. The humidity is rather high at the moment, and the door began to expand. It is a bit difficult to open and close it as the gap between the door and the box is very small. I did it on purpose in order not to get a huge gap as the door will (in my opinion) definitely shrink when they begin using the sauna regularly. Let us wait some time to get the information.))
