I’ve just “restored” a Disston D8 saw, and am ready for my first try at sharpening. I have some saw sets on the way, and am looking into files. Bahco files from Lee Valley have been recommended as a good brand, but the files don’t come with handles. Since files seem to be a “consumable”, I’ve been looking at file handles on Amazon with chucks so the handle can be swapped as needed. They say they are for needle files, and I don’t know if they would fit the larger files for the bigger (8tpi) saws?
What solutions/options are out there?
What about this 🙂

Actually better than Bahco’s original plastic handle which lee valley doesn’t offer.
Skroo Zon #3. Cheap. Reusable. Works great.
