Scrap wood plant stand

    My wife saw one of these plant stands on Pinterest and asked me to make it. I was able to use some scrap walnut and finished it with tounge oil. Not too bad for a Thursday afternoon.

    Yeah. A half lap holding the two cross members together too.

    My wife said “big enough for a 10 inch pot” so I did. Then the pot she brought home was 11″. I had to recut the two cross pieces again. Basically made two of them. :/

    Not her fault. Since.the pot is tapered, I guess the width is taken at the center, not the top
