Thanks David. Same tools as Paul described in his video. A small axe, carving knife, crooked knife and a gouge.
Here is my first serious attempt at a spoon by Paul’s method. I went out to the wood pile and found what I think is a piece of Mulberry. It had a dry crack in it that I didn’t see till I got into the bowl but I carved it out anyway just for practice. I like this one and it actually looks like the one Greg posted here earlier. I don’t have a round scrape yet so I’m off to cut out one of those and get it sharpened up for my next spoon.
