Each to their own, but I’d never use tinned shellac nor would I spray it. I like to mix my own flakes and alcohol, and then filter it if necessary. I can vary the cut, change the colour, etc. Also, I think wiping or brushing shellac gets your much more consistent, controllable and better results. Look at Paul’s brushing method on the coffee table. No safety equipment, no clean-up, no mess, no overspray.

Again, just my opinion and I don’t mean to offend the OP but I think there are better options here than those demonstrated by this video.
