I am planning to attend the Woodworking Show in Atlanta, March 22-24.
Anyone else planning to attend? Maybe we could get together for lunch or dinner while there.
I plan to go but haven’t made any hotel reservations yet. ( @crance & @constable415 ) Where are you guys staying?

Robin, I will be staying with family, on the in-law side. So I may be looking for an escape strategy.

Can’t understand the language.

Now that was FUNNY! Besides that my GPS will not show anything above the Maxon-Dixon line. 🙂 Meant with humor

I had 2 uncles who moved to Baltimore just a couple of years after WWII. Both drove city buses and retired sometime in the early 80s. One moved back to TN and the other to VA.I spent 3 summer weeks in Baltimore between my junior and senior year in high school back in the late 60s. Had a great time, saw four or five O’s games back in the O’s glory years.
Ate my first sub sandwich there. Never heard of one before and had no idea what to order. Lots of options and I couldn’t understand the lady taking the order. Didn’t matter much because I didn’t what most of the stuff was anyway. Finally gave up and told her to fix me the same thing my cousin was getting.
I don’t think Baltimore would present much of a language problem for me today. I’d really like to go to a woodworking show there but I can’t even get down to Atlanta.
I went to a couple in Nashville around 10 yrs ago but there haven’t been any since that I know of. Attendance at the first show was great, but terrible for the second and that’s probably why they haven’t been back. Problem with the second one was that a new Woodcraft had just opened a week or two before the show and, the big problem, the show was on the Tenn-Alabama football weekend. Got to watch out for college football when scheduling events in the Southeast.
