Loverly job Dave.
I am green with envy.
Hope you put casters on chest that going to be heavy to move.
Glueing up the panel for the lid of the chest is a daunting task and I decided after reading some articles on ensuring a flat glue up and edge joining boards to glue it up in stages. Today I finished glueing up the two sections and they turned flat and square. The lid is going to be a double lid so to speak with a space to hang saws.
Finally I have cleared the to do list and now I am focusing on finishing this over the next month. I made a couple inset trays for the two top tills to keep my gouges and rasps from banging against each other and for additional storage of small bits.
Next to do is a removable box for keeping my drill bits, brace etc. and a lift out box for my sharpening stuff and miscellaneous items.
Nice trays Dave, very functional and very well done.)Thanks for sharing
Very fine work Dave! Beautiful craftsmanship. Congrats!
I would love to make a chest like that someday…I’m in desperate need of storage.

What a great chest Dave, great job! I’ve seen similar designs with 3 tills running long way, but your design seems to have more utility.
Cheers
