Well, I have to wait until Paul”s tool chest project but I decided to build small tool holder. It still in progress, I’m using (5)1/2″ magnets from Lee Valley, not enough strength(( I will buy 5 more this Monday(have to work over the weekend), wood is the same from unknown recycled bed))

Serhiy, that wood looks like Iroko. I just finished a project using it and it worked extremely well. It was a joy to work with.

Very nice. When I am able to finally start to put together my permanent workshop space, I will definitely incorporate something like that; I’ve seen similar things on some other blogs and always thought such racks were a simple and elegant storage solution. One idea that I really liked was including spacers between the rack itself and the wall behind it, creating a space for a very large wooden jointer.
Thank you guys. I will let you know how it works with 5 more magnets(10 in total), my main goal was mobility, you can attach it to your bench or wall and change every time when you need.
