Hello, I have recently joined the Masterclass and have begun converting my office into a hand tool workshop. I found an ad posted on craigslist for a hemlock or fir beam measuring 5-3/8″ X 11-1/4″ X 77″. It cost me $40.00. I am a long way from starting the bench since I need to learn a lot about hand tool woodworking before I start. I thought you might enjoy seeing a photo of it. This is the best end-the other side has a couple of cracks that are about an inch deep.
