Hi all
I bought a veritas bullnose plane awhile back with the primary intention to use it to clean up/fix my dodgy cut on tennon shoulders. Problem is I can’t get a shaving on tennon shoulders. Works nicely on planing the arrive
Any suggestions?
I think on this model the front can slid in and out or can be completely removed, (this is handing for cleaning off dried glue in corners)
Just make sure the front is NOT tight to the blade, that there is a gap. As long as the blade is extended, it has to take shaving….
I’ve experimented with having the front in different positions.
Perhaps it’s just not sharp enough?
