I love my wood screws. Until I have a proper woodworking bench, that’s my face vice. It works surprisingly well.
I drilled two 1/4″ holes in all my clamps. And I have a series of corresponding holes along the edge of my bench. The clamp is secured with two 1/4″ flat head machine screws with simple wing nuts.
Having a series of 4″ spaced holes along the bench allows me to secure the clamp anywhere along the edge, and, to use two in conjunction when needed to hold a large panel.
Part 2 is coming along, but remember, this is a side project. Thanks for the interest 🙂
