That would be nice. I don’t think it would be done in two or three episodes though Dan.
I really enjoy making shop tools. Maybe a marking gauge, bowsaw or wooden plane? I think all would be useful and fun. A picture frame would be nice too.
For our next mini-series, what about a table top mirror? Something like this:

How about sharpening different tools, like gouges and skewed chisels and plane irons. I saw the email on card scrapers, but can’t watch the video.
Hey guys,
There were many fantastic suggestions here and we will be referring back to them in the future. However, Paul opted to go for the breadboard-end cutting board because we have some fantastic examples in the castle kitchen and we had the opportunity to film briefly there. We will be returning to these suggestions but we did not want to pass up this opportunity.
We hope you enjoy this series which will actually last around five weeks. It is a great project and is one that although longer than we originally planned is affordable and quite simple to make in a weekend.
