    Hi,

I’m not a professional – woodworking is just ma hobby. I build things mostly for my family – shelves, boxes, desk for my child, bookcases etc. I wonder, what do you build just for yourselves or your families?

I’d like to hear from Paul (I’d love to see some pictures maybe…) – I wonder – Paul, are you buying any furniture or building all of it on your own? 🙂

I just build for fun and family.  I have made 6 wall clocks and several boxes as christmas gifts.  My long term goal is to replace all my furniture with my own hand made designs.  A lofty goal for sure but doable…I think.

Did you stain or paint them all the same?  I’d like to know what is the name of the green shade Paul used on the clock in his shop. It is pictured behind him in some of the videos.

Rodney,  I stained one in Mahogany and the rest were just danish oil or shelac.  That green looks like pine needle green 🙂 I’m hopeless at describing colors.

@ Dave, I think a gift that is home meade and useful means more than any store bought gift.

I have built my daughter her rocking horse and toy chest. For my wife her china hutch.  Hopefully more to follow and presents for others.
