I’ve seen Paul recommend Bahco files for use on scrapers, but I’m really confused as to which to get.
There seem to be lots of different file sizes, file angles, and different tooth sizes, I’m not sure where to start… Some things seem to be described as engineers files, homeowners files, flat files, hand files, bastard cut, second cut, etc. – I don’t know what any of these are really.
Any links to a good starting file (for use on scrapers) would be great! At some point I might want one for working wood as well, but that can wait…
In case it helps anyone else reading this, I also found a blog post from Paul which lists the serial numbers of some of the files he recommends:

I am using “any file that is at hand”, provided it is flat, long and wide enough and still sharp (all my files are sharp, because I hardly use them). In the following steps, I refine that surface on my sharpening stones. I even tried to hone it on a leather strop, but that rounded the edges and I had to start from scratch.
In short, better files last longer, finer files reduce the time to polish the surface, coarser files produce a flat surface in less time. In the end, all that counts is to get back to work, isn’t it?

PS: That blog is mostly about saw files, which is a completely different application.
