Elmer’s glue is good, not sure about the open time as I have only used it on small projects. I think I would go for Titebond Extend super strong with a longer open time .
Have some of you had any experience with Elmers glue? I am looking for a strong glue with some open time for clamping.
Juryaan, elmers is good glue. You can extend the open time by adding a little bit of water to some glue. Just stir it in with a stick. A tip I got from someone when I was buying lumber for my bench top.
